It premiered on Film 4 last Friday, as well as being released simultaneously in theatres, on demand, and blu-ray/DVD. It’s Ben Wheatley’s newest film and the release strategy was the first of its kind. If you’re a fan of Wheatley’s, I highly suggest you check this one out.

As for “El Topo” I’ve still yet to see it. When you do get the chance to watch it, let me know if it is worth checking out :).

Good review. This was on Film 4 last week followed by El Topo. I’d never heard of this one, though, so didn’t record it. Sounds interesting! I’ve been desperate to see El Topo for years, however, but it failed to record & I’m still annoyed! ;-)

Oh my god, look who’s back. Why yes, it is amazing, you should definitely check it out. While it is substantially weird and artistic, the visuals, performance, and story are well worth the brain-cramp :).
